Description

The Spinning® Bridge Certification is designed specifically for instructors who are already certified in other indoor cycling programs and want to earn the globally recognized Spinning® Instructor Certification.

Before You Begin: After purchasing this course, you will be required to upload proof of your current or expired indoor cycling certification before you can access any course content. This step ensures eligibility and allows us to recognize your prior experience as you transition into the Spinning® family.

In this self-paced course, you will learn cornerstone elements of Spinning® education, including:

  • Spinner® bike design, features, safety, and setup
  • Optimal bike fit and biomechanics for yourself and others
  • Spinning® Program hand positions, movements, and cyclist-inspired riding technique
  • Common contraindications and how to avoid them
  • Heart rate training, Energy Zones™, and power-based training principles

To earn the Spinning® Instructor Certification credential, you must complete all required coursework and pass the final exam with 80% or higher.

Upon passing the exam, your certification will be valid for two years. To maintain your certification, you will need to complete 14 Continuing Education Credits (CECs) before your certification expires. Spinning® offers a variety of continuing education courses to help you meet this requirement and continue growing as an instructor.

How it works:

1. Enroll today.

2. Receive a link to access the course in SpinU.

3. Upload proof of your current or expired indoor cycling certification. Our team will review your submission within 24 hours. Once approved, you may continue with the course.

4. You’ll have access to a digital Spinning® Instructor Manual, Study Guide, charts, and a progressive series of modules featuring engaging videos, Master Instructor rides, and reading assignments.

5. Complete the coursework on your own schedule.

6. Pass the 40-item multiple-choice exam with a score of 80% or higher to be awarded the Certified Spinning® Instructor credential, valid for 2 years (renewable with continuing education requirements).

What you’ll need:
You’ll need access to a bike for the rides, but if you don’t have one at home, you have the flexibility to complete all coursework and the exam first. The on-the-bike portion can be completed afterward. A heart rate monitor is also strongly recommended.
